The Douglas Trestle table is shown in Quarter Sawn White Oak with mission edge. This table is available with leaf self storage. 42″ wide can store 2 leaves with skirts and 2 without. 48″ wide can store 4 leaves without skirts. There are 41″ in between the trestle.

In larger case pieces (hutches, dressers, etc) solid wood / veneered plywood is utilized for the backs which minimizes cracking and/or warping that can result from humidity changes with a solid piece of wood.
