The table can extend to 31″ when in use! The benches also have storage capabilities. This set comes standard with fabric but you can upgrade to leather if you desire.

In larger case pieces (hutches, dressers, etc) solid wood / veneered plywood is utilized for the backs which minimizes cracking and/or warping that can result from humidity changes with a solid piece of wood.
